Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul announced their first pregnancy on November 8. Their note on Instagram reads, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.”

The couple tied the knot in January 2023 and expressed excitement as they await the arrival of their baby in 2025.

Athiya is the daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty. As soon as she shared the news on social media many shared their congratulatory messages pouring in from fans and colleagues alike. The news has added an extra layer of celebration for Rahul amid his ongoing cricket career, as he continues his journey with both personal and professional milestones in sight.

On the work front, Rahul represented India A in their unofficial Test series against Australia A as part of preparations for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy and took a moment away from cricket to share this joyous update with fans.

On the other hand, Athiya was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor which was released in 2019. She played the role of Ani aka Anita Awasthi opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
